Every France (and Schengen) visa appointment in Bangkok takes place at the TLScontact Visa Application Centre, the French Embassy’s partner centre. Here is how to find it - with a photo of every step of the walk from BTS Chong Nonsi, so you know exactly where to go on appointment day.

Where is the centre?

TLScontact Bangkok is located in Sathorn City Tower, on the 12th floor:

Sathorn City Tower, 12th floor 175 South Sathorn Road, Khwaeng Thung Mahamek, Khet Sathorn Bangkok 10120

Search for “Sathorn City Tower” on Google Maps - it is one of the landmark towers of Sathorn Road.

Getting there by MRT

On the MRT Blue line, get off at Lumpini station - from there it is a 5 minute taxi or motorbike ride, or about 15 minutes on foot.

By car, taxi or Grab

Set your destination to “Sathorn City Tower, 175 South Sathorn Road”. The building has its own car park, but spaces fill up quickly in the morning - allow extra time. Sathorn Road gets very congested during rush hours (roughly 7-9 am and 5-8 pm), so plan to arrive with time to spare.

Inside the building: reception, escalator, gates, lift

When you arrive at the building, walk straight to the card exchange counter to exchange a card for the visa centre on the 12th floor.

Get your QR entrance ticket at the reception

At the ground-floor reception, present an ID (your passport is perfect) and they will give you a QR entrance ticket. Keep it - you need it to open the automated gates and to exit the building.

On the day of your appointment

  • Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. If you arrive late, you may have to book a new appointment.
  • Bring your appointment confirmation (printed or on your phone), your passport, your printed France-Visas application form and all the documents on your checklist.
  • If it is your first Schengen visa, your fingerprints will be taken at the counter - a quick digital scan, no ink.
  • In general, only applicants are allowed inside - a parent or guardian may accompany a minor.
  • Travel light: large bags and laptops are generally not welcome inside visa centres.

Opening hours

Appointment hours and passport collection times change from time to time. Always double-check your appointment confirmation email and the official TLScontact Bangkok website before you travel.

After you submit

Keep the receipt you are given at the end of your appointment: it shows when and how your passport will be returned. You can usually collect it at the centre or have it delivered - our team will guide you through this step too.
